Vehicle ramming attacks are not new to the far-right. In 2017, a white supremacist drove his car into a crowd of peaceful protestors in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Three years later, over 66 vehicle ramming attacks have injured and killed protestors throughout the country. In at least five of these incidents, members of law enforcement were behind the wheel.
